Target Audience

This program is intended for primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates, and other members of the healthcare team who manage patients at risk for NVAF.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performances of learners regarding the implications of undiagnosed NVAF, methods to improve detection and NVAF management, and strategies for reducing disparities in NVAF care.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Design individualized treatment regimens for patients with NVAF by integrating guideline recommendations, clinical trial evidence, and patient-specific factors
Formulate strategies for collaborative, patient-centered care to address inequities in the healthcare system and to improve NVAF management while reducing health disparities
