Target Audience

This program is intended for oncologists, pathologists, and other healthcare providers who care for patients with breast, gastrointestinal, and lung cancers.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Review evidence-based guidelines and expert recommendations for assessing HER2 in the metastatic setting for gastrointestinal cancers
  • Appraise the available clinical data for established and emerging HER2-targeted therapies in gastrointestinal cancers
  • Implement best practices for HER2 diagnostic testing and interpretation to guide integration of the latest targeted therapies into individualized treatment plans
  • Identify patients eligible to enroll on important ongoing clinical trials based evaluating novel HER2-targeted therapies in gastrointestinal cancers
