Goal Statement
The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners in effort to optimize treatment for patients with Tardive Dyskinesia (TD).

Target Audience
This program is intended for HCPs who care for patients with tardive dyskinesia in long-term care and psychiatric settings, including long-term care physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nurses and physician associates, as well as psychiatrists, psychiatry focused nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and nurses. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate patients for tardive dyskinesia using evidence-based screening tools
  • Interpret the efficacy and safety data of VMAT2 inhibitors to treat tardive dyskinesia
  • Create an individualized patient care plan for treatment of tardive dyskinesia
